The reason Canadians are so nice is easily explained. Once a year, on the sixth full moon all Canadian’s gather beneath the stars and perform a ritual that sucks all their meanness and cruelty and places it in Canadian Geese.
The people who come running to hug you after you haven’t seen them in awhile are my favorite type of people.

The original owner of this building was Potter Palmer, who had it constructed in the 1920’s. In 1938 the Bennett Brothers rented space in the building, and in 1968 they purchased it. Very interesting building…a mix of early art deco style with Mid-Century Modern. I think the lobby probably still looks very much the same as it did when the Bennett Brothers purchased it and opened their showroom there circa 1972…
